INTRODUCTION
LG optimus slider which is also known as Gelato Q   was first released on 17 October, 2011 by Virgin mobile in USA. Except for few changes it is not much different from other V phones priced at $179.99.


DESIGN

This ponderous LG Optimus Slider measures 115 mm tall by 59 mm wide by 15.00 mm thick and it is weighs 159.5 grams. 

Let me model it out for you so is it easier for you to see with your imagination - On the left side you will find a volume rocker and a Micro-USB port with a small cover.

At the top a sleep/power button and the 3.5mm headphone jack and on the left side of the top is a shortcut camera button that'll open the camera app when the display is on and the phone is unlocked.

Right side consist of three small slits for the speaker phone output

You will find a black matte coating plastic on the back side of the phone and on the centre you will see 3.2-megapixel primary camera with an accompanying flash.

Like all the other phones it lights up when in use, the space between keys are minimal which includes four navigational arrows, a shortcut button for emoticons, and also a ".com" button for typing in Web sites.

  • Five ISO choices (ranging from 100 to 800)

  • Video recorder also offer the same editing criteria
  • The phone runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is preloaded with some Google apps such as the Play store, Maps with Navigation, Gmail, Talk, YouTube, and Places.
  • E mail is also one of the feature of this optimus slider




OVERALL PERFORMANCE 

 
All together you will find that this lD phone is quite similar other non screen type phone. This LD optimus mobile may not include too many apps or qualities but it’s good for those who is fond of the Optimus V's specs and commitment-free plan, but prefer a tactile keyboard to go with your flying fingers, the V's second iteration, than this model of  LG Optimus Slider, may be worth considering.
